Price Comparison Method

 

  1. CATIE invites eligible bidders to participate in the process of “Acquisition of computer equipment and accessories essential to efficiently access and manage the data collected from CEWS, in order to improve the performance of operational processes in Belize“, as part of the regional project REFORES: “Use of Nature-Based Solutions to Increase Resilience to Extreme Weather Events in the Atlantic Region of Central America”.
  2. This process is carried out under the price comparison method, in accordance with CABEI Policy for Obtaining Goods, Works, Services and Consultancies with Resources and its Standards for Application, which can be found on the following website: https://www.bcie.org/adquisiciones-en-proyectos/documentos/antes-de-la-reforma-integral/normas
  3. Requests for clarifications or additional information must be sent through the electronic address of rojas@catie.ac.cr and/or a copy to helen.choco@catie.ac.cr.
  4. Bids can be submitted through:
    1. Physical documents in a sealed envelope with attention to Ms. Helen Choco, Country Coordinator, REFORES Honduras Project, before 4pm on July 22, 2026 at the following address:
      1. CATIE Office, Central Farm, Cayo District.
    2. Send to the email indicated below no later than July 22, 2026 at 11:59 pm to the email addresses of rojas@catie.ac.cr and/or copy to helen.choco@catie.ac.cr
  5. The contractor makes available to interested parties the documentation necessary to prepare their quotes, available in the attached document.
  6. It is emphasized that suppliers must comply with the presentation of the required forms in the instructional document available at the following link https://www.catie.ac.cr/adquisiciones/
