CATIE and the University of North Texas (UN ) offer this unique graduate program in Latin America and the United States, which is professional management and leadership in the international sustainable tourism industry.
UNT is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. CATIE is not accredited by SACS Commission on Colleges and the accreditation of UNT does not extend to or include CATIE or its students. Further, although UNT agrees to accept certain coursework from CATIE to be applied toward an award from UNT, that course work may not be accepted by other colleges or universities in transfer, even if it appears on a transcript from UNT. The decision to accept course work in transfer from any institution is made by the institution considering the acceptance of credits or course work.
