Costa Rica is an educational destination

Costa Rica is also an educational destination, for many reasons. Costa Rica is a country with a high human development index and an internationally recognized tradition in environmental conservation and development. Its population of around 4.6 million inhabitants is peaceful and friendly. This country stands out for its good quality services, public safety and scenic beauty.

Costa Rica’s network of national parks and conservation areas, abundant biodiversity and exceptional geographic location, make our country a point of convergence for the studious and institutions involved with natural resources, the environment and agriculture.

Costa Rica is a country for studying in a natural setting and CATIE allows you to get your education on a campus that is surrounded by plants and animals. The experience couldn’t be better.
