{"id":32902,"date":"2025-03-11T15:18:10","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T21:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/?p=32902"},"modified":"2025-03-13T08:40:31","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T14:40:31","slug":"catie-e-inta-firman-convenio-para-fortalecer-la-investigacion-y-la-formacion-profesional-del-sector-agropecuario-de-costa-rica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/en\/2025\/03\/11\/catie-e-inta-firman-convenio-para-fortalecer-la-investigacion-y-la-formacion-profesional-del-sector-agropecuario-de-costa-rica\/","title":{"rendered":"CATIE and INTA sign agreement to strengthen research and professional training in Costa Rica\u2019s agricultural sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em>The agreement will promote technical and scientific training programs to enhance knowledge and technology transfer in the sector.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/li><\/ul><p>CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) and the National Institute for Innovation and Transfer in Agricultural Technology (INTA) of Costa Rica have signed a framework cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening the academic and technical training of INTA\u2019s professional staff, as well as fostering joint research on key issues for national and regional agricultural development.<\/p><p>This strategic agreement includes the participation of INTA staff in master's programs and modular training courses offered by CATIE\u2019s Graduate School.<\/p><p>Additionally, it will allow them to update and deepen their knowledge in areas such as tropical crops, food security, and livestock activities. It also seeks to enhance the quality of scientific research conducted by both institutions, promoting the development of new agricultural technologies to serve the productive sector of Costa Rica and the Latin American region.<\/p><p>\u201cThe agreement with INTA represents an opportunity for professionals in the agricultural sector to strengthen their academic and scientific credentials, with an impact at both the local and international levels.
