{"id":33535,"date":"2025-03-31T15:02:48","date_gmt":"2025-03-31T21:02:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/?p=33535"},"modified":"2025-03-31T15:24:10","modified_gmt":"2025-03-31T21:24:10","slug":"107-jovenes-y-mujeres-de-la-region-trifinio-se-capacitan-en-emprendimiento-y-modelos-de-negocio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/en\/2025\/03\/31\/107-jovenes-y-mujeres-de-la-region-trifinio-se-capacitan-en-emprendimiento-y-modelos-de-negocio\/","title":{"rendered":"107 young people and women from the Trifinio Region trained in entrepreneurship and business models"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>This training process is part of the ESCALAR Juventud 2025 initiative within the framework of the ESCALAR project.<\/em><\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p>The third edition of the ESCALAR Juventud 2025 call for proposals began the incubation process for rural entrepreneurship with training in entrepreneurship and business models, with the participation of 107 young people, of whom 12 are from El Salvador, 39 from Guatemala and 56 from Honduras.<\/p><p>This process is being conducted as part of the ESCALAR project: \u201cScaling climate change adaptation solutions for resilience and migration reduction in the Central American Dry Corridor\u201d, led by CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center), in partnership with the Tri-national Trifinio Plan Commission (CTPT), with support from the Swedish Cooperation. In addition, the topic \u201cBusiness Model Canvas\u201d is provided by the Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de El Salvador (UNICAES) in Metap\u00e1n, the Centro de Promoci\u00f3n de la Micro, Peque\u00f1a y Mediana Empresa (PROMIPYME CUNORI) of the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala in Chiquimula and the Fundaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo Empresarial Rural (FUNDER) in Cop\u00e1n Ruinas and La Labor.
