{"id":35472,"date":"2025-06-10T14:53:46","date_gmt":"2025-06-10T20:53:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/?p=35472"},"modified":"2025-06-10T14:57:19","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T20:57:19","slug":"agromira-suma-a-aliados-del-sector-publica-de-costa-rica-para-compensar-huella-ambiental","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/en\/2025\/06\/10\/agromira-suma-a-aliados-del-sector-publica-de-costa-rica-para-compensar-huella-ambiental\/","title":{"rendered":"AGROMIRA Gains Support from Costa Rica's Public Sector to Offset Environmental Footprint"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>ICE donates 350 trees with support from MINAE-SINAC Turrialba<\/em><\/li><\/ul><p>As part of the follow-up actions promoted by AGROMIRA 2025\u2014an event that brought together over 300 participants from more than 20 countries on the CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) campus\u2014350 trees were donated by the nursery of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE), located in Cach\u00ed, Cartago.<\/p><p>The donated species (Dama, Cupania, and Cortez Negro) play a key role in the conservation of water resources and contribute to the region\u2019s biodiversity.
