{"id":37704,"date":"2025-09-26T14:28:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T20:28:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/?p=37704"},"modified":"2025-09-26T14:28:08","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T20:28:08","slug":"catie-y-universidad-cenfotec-impulsan-cooperacion-para-integrar-ia-y-tecnologias-emergentes-en-educacion-e-investigacion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/en\/2025\/09\/26\/catie-y-universidad-cenfotec-impulsan-cooperacion-para-integrar-ia-y-tecnologias-emergentes-en-educacion-e-investigacion\/","title":{"rendered":"CATIE and CENFOTEC University drive cooperation to integrate AI and emerging technologies into education and research"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em><em><em>The alliance seeks to contribute to the country\u2019s development with forward-looking educational solutions.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/li><\/ul><p>CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) and CENFOTEC University took a decisive step toward the future of education and applied research with a strategic meeting held on September 16 at CATIE\u2019s campus in Turrialba.<\/p><p>The purpose of the meeting was to establish a joint roadmap that leverages artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital transformation to strengthen talent training and the generation of innovative solutions for the region\u2019s sustainability challenges.<\/p><p>Proposals were discussed for courses and diploma programs in areas such as artificial intelligence applied to agriculture, data science for sustainability, and automation of decision-making processes.
