Jos\u00e9 Leonardo Monterrubio, advisor, with the aim of exploring options for collaboration on strategic issues of conservation, biodiversity, climate change, and productive restoration. Edwin P\u00e9rez S\u00e1nchez, M.Sc., graduate and former coordinator of the BioPaSOS project, implemented by CATIE in the state during the period 2018-2022, also participated in the meeting.<\/p><p>\u201cDuring the meeting, the institution's strengths in applied research, education, and technical cooperation were highlighted, which are central pillars for Inclusive Green Development actions. Through these, CATIE can provide support and technical cooperation to the Secretariat's thematic priorities,\u201d explained Sep\u00falveda.<\/p><p>For her part, Secretary Joselyn Dur\u00e1n raised the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement or memorandum of understanding that would serve as a framework for collaboration on joint actions in the short and medium term. She also thanked CATIE for its visit and expressed her interest in strengthening cooperation to achieve the sustainability goals proposed by her office.<\/p><p>These approaches with the local governments of its member countries allow CATIE to continue promoting green inclusive development in the Latin American and Caribbean region through technical collaboration.<br><br><\/p><div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>More information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Claudia J.
