The workshops took place in Zohlaguna, Calakmul; Ley de Reforma Agraria, Champot\u00f3n; and Matamoros, Esc\u00e1rcega, with the participation of 44 male producers and 8 female producers from eight different communities\u2014six from the municipality of Calakmul, one from Champot\u00f3n and one from Esc\u00e1rcega.<\/p><p>The workshops addressed topics such as: the farm as a business, rural finance, access to and management of credit, risk mitigation, strategic planning, and commercialization and market niches for livestock products.<br><\/p><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"850\" height=\"478\" src=\"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ganaderia-sostenible3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41050\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ganaderia-sostenible3.jpg 850w, https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ganaderia-sostenible3-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ganaderia-sostenible3-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ganaderia-sostenible3-18x10.jpg 18w, https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ganaderia-sostenible3-600x337.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/figure><\/div><p><br>As a result of these workshops, seven small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises (agri-enterprises) interested in accessing financing have been identified.
