{"id":41339,"date":"2026-04-30T13:58:12","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T19:58:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/?p=41339"},"modified":"2026-04-30T13:59:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T19:59:00","slug":"escuela-de-posgrado-del-catie-fortalece-su-crecimiento-academico-y-proyeccion-internacional","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catie.ac.cr\/en\/2026\/04\/30\/escuela-de-posgrado-del-catie-fortalece-su-crecimiento-academico-y-proyeccion-internacional\/","title":{"rendered":"CATIE Graduate School strengthens its academic growth and international projection"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em><em>Increased enrollment, consolidation of accreditation, and new scholarship partnerships mark a period of progress in the institution\u2019s educational quality.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/li><\/ul><p>The CATIE Graduate School (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) reports significant progress during the 2025\u20132026 period, reflected in sustained enrollment growth, strengthened academic quality, and expanded funding opportunities for students across the region.<\/p><p>One of the main achievements is the increase in the number of students. In on-site master\u2019s programs, enrollment grew by 75%, while the doctoral program experienced a 200% increase. In addition, virtual master\u2019s programs expanded from 57 to 69 students in 2025. These results are the outcome of a comprehensive strategy to promote and position the academic offer and the quality it delivers.<\/p><p>In line with its commitment to accessibility and competitiveness, the School reduced the cost of on-site master\u2019s programs while maintaining high standards of educational quality.
