      • From May 6 to 8 next year, the most important event in sustainable agribusiness in Latin America and the Caribbean will take place at CATIE, offering opportunities to establish alliances, acquire knowledge, and share experiences.

The CATIE campus (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) will be the epicenter of AGROMIRA, the most prominent and innovative event in sustainable agribusiness held in recent years in Latin America and the Caribbean. It will provide the opportunity to hear from international experts who will encourage the redefinition of knowledge.

Visit the AGROMIRA website and take advantage of the early registration discounts.

The goal is to create a regional platform that brings together professionals driving sustainability in agribusiness to foster knowledge exchange, promote synergies, and offer business opportunities that can transform the region's agri-food systems.

      Themes aimed at generating impact

Strategically, this event proposes four key themes for the evolution of sustainable businesses:

      1. Markets: challenges and opportunities for agribusiness
      2. Sustainability models and business innovation
      3. New financing models in the agricultural sector
      4. Technology applied to agribusiness

Adriana Escobedo, a specialist in sustainable agribusiness from CATIE’s Environmental Economics and Sustainable Agribusiness Unit (UEAAS/EfD), mentioned that these themes are redefining the competitiveness and sustainability of agribusiness in the region.

"During two full days, we will delve into these four themes and provide spaces where participants will acquire the tools, approaches, and knowledge necessary to enhance or strengthen key skills, in order to achieve better performance in the business environment," said Escobedo, who is also coordinating the organization of this unique event.

She added that topics such as agromarketing, regenerative economy, artificial intelligence applied to agribusiness, crowdfundingplatforms, smart contracts in blockchain, emerging markets, and climate challenges for agribusiness, among many others, will be discussed.

      Save the date and register!

To participate in AGROMIRA, there will be various options depending on the interests of individuals or companies. You can choose to become a sponsor, take part in the Commercial Fair, or join the Experience Gallery.

All this information can be found on the AGROMIRA https://agromira.catie.ac.crhttps://agromira.catie.ac.cr, where you can easily register and take advantage of the early registration price of USD 420 or USD 300 if you are a graduate of the Master's in Business and Sustainable Markets Management (GANEMOS)..

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of the most important event in sustainable agribusiness in Latin America and the Caribbean!
