- The initiative promotes sustainable production and protects forests, water, and soils, thanks to a partnership between the community and strategic partners led by WWF, Fundación Cervecería Hondureña, The Coca-Cola Company, and the REFORES project
A total of 112 producers from the community of San Antonio, San Pedro Sula, Honduras, received tool kits to strengthen their agroforestry systems. The initiative seeks to conserve forests, protect water sources, and care for soils, with immediate benefits for local livelihoods.

The delivery was made possible by the joint work of the community and strategic partners: WWF, Fundación Cervecería Hondureña, The Coca-Cola Company, and the REFORES project, implemented by CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center), with financial support from the Adaptation Fund and in collaboration with the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).
Also participating in this effort are the San Pedro Sula Water Security Alliance, the Environmental Management Office of the Municipality of San Pedro Sula, the Forest Conservation Institute (ICF), and the Association of Community Boards of the El Merendón Reserve.
The action is part of the Replenish project, which coordinates efforts to strengthen community resilience and sustainable watershed management in the territory.
